Field Blend

2017 Enrique Foster Field Blend
Vinous – 92 Points

A blend of Malbec with 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Franc from Vista Flores,  Uco Valley, aged for 12 months. The terroir comes out in the clear herbal notes, which  are accompanied by sweet and sour cherry over a bed of oak. In the mouth, this attractive wine has the slightly rough texture of Cabernets, with active, grippy tannins made juicier by the controlled freshness. Just the right point of ripeness for the grapes.  – Joaquín Hidalgo  Drink – 2020 – 2029
