Tasting Notes:
“Charming and mouthfilling…” Fairly deep crimson colour. The nose is intense with aromas of ripe red fruit accompanied by retronasal floral notes. Charming and mouthfilling with a beautiful structure and fine tannins on the finish. 2019, a great vintage that will benefit from a little more ageing. – Michel Rolland
2023 Vintage:
James Suckling – 92 Points
This juicy red has aromas and flavors of strawberries, oranges and chocolate biscuits. It’s medium-bodied, bright and full of flavor,
with powdery tannins and a touch of spice at the end. Drink now.
Vinous – 90 Points
The 2023 Pinot Noir Mariflor comes from the Uco Valley, with only 10% of the wine undergoing oak aging. It opens with cherry and herb notes, showcasing a reductive character along with flint and damp earth aromas. With a lovely expression that reveals richness and maturity, this offers a well-defined palate in flavor and structure. It presents a savory, fairly clingy profile from a warm vintage.
