Tasting Notes:
The distinctive dark purple colour of Malbec, enhanced by much brilliance and brightness. The intense aromas reveal the lovely varietal nuances of Cabernet Franc and the robust spicy black fruit notes of Malbec. The same complementary combination can be found on the palate, resulting in elegance, power and richness. These two grape varieties are really made for each other, creating a magical final blend. A pleasure to drink in the next five to fifteen years, when it will be the perfect partner for all types of meat. – Michel Rolland

Jeb Dunnuck – 92 Points
Hearty, elegant, and boldly layered in blue and red fruit, dried herb, and earth, the 2020 Mariflor Blend is an impressive sum of its parts, blending 60% Cabernet Franc and 40% Malbec into a cohesive whole. Well-made and age-worthy, give it another 10-15 years. $58

Cocoa powder, dark cherries, dried chilis and mocha on the nose, followed by a polished, creamy and full-bodied palate with ripe tannins. Layered and flavorful. Drink now or hold.
