Row 503 Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir is born in the heart of Oregon wine country, where ancient soils cover the famous slopes of the Cascades and the Coastal Range.

The lava flows of 15 million years ago are now the rich volcanic soils treasured by some of the world’s great winemakers.

A beautiful cuvée. Its lustrous garnet color is immediately striking, and aromatics of summery red cherry, red plum, and light warm spice characters leap from the glass.

The palate is fresh and fruit-driven to the core.

Description

Row 503 Pinot Noir

Willamette Valley

Calling Oregon!

    • Row 503 is the new Oregon Pinot Noir brand from Dreyfus, Ashby.
    • The name reflects the area code for Northern Oregon, which is home to the select Willamette Valley vineyards that produce Row 503.
    • Made entirely from Pinot Noir, and bottled under screwcap.
    • Row 503 is perfect for wine lovers to enjoy at home or by the glass at their favorite restaurants.

The 2023 Vintage:

    • In 2023, budbreak was unusually late, starting on April 30.
    • Next came an unexpected heat surge and minimal rainfall, a lasting pattern which compressed the period from budbreak to bloom to less than 45 days (a record)!
    • Our vineyards adapted well to these surprises, and when harvest started on September, the fruit looked great.
    • Towards the end of the month, we saw some significant rains.
    • The overall harvest concluded on October 5.
