A full palette of aromas reminiscent of stone fruit (cherry, peach, apricot), cocoa, exotic wood (cedar). On the palate, the texture is like silk and velvet. DESCRIPTION:

  • This Grand Cru is admirably situated right above Clos Vougeot, another Grand Cru, on a gentle slope facing due East.
  • Le Musigny is just to the North.
  • The Drouhin family owns a .41 ha (one acre) vineyard there.
  • The soil is clay and limestone. It lies on a moderate incline facing due east.

GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Pinot Noir
