Paco & Lola wins IWSC 2025 White Wine Producer Trophy
Twenty years after its founding, Galician cooperative Paco & Lola has reached a milestone moment – winning the IWSC’s 2025 White Wine Producer Trophy.
After being shortlisted – already a remarkable achievement, as fewer than 3% of all IWSC entries are awarded a Gold medal – Paco & Lola have now received the IWSC 2025 White Wine Producer of the Year Trophy. For our judging panel, they emerged as “the obvious frontrunner” with a submission praised for “innovation, passion and detail.”
The IWSC White Wine Producer Trophy celebrates excellence across white wine portfolios, recognising producers who combine quality with innovation and sustainability. Paco & Lola presented seven wines to our IWSC judges – and every single one earned at least a bronze medal, with their Paco & Lola Prime 2021 securing gold. As IWSC judge Mick O’Connell MW noted of their Gold-medal Albariño: “clearly good… quite a perfect wine, as in it’s exactly where everything should be.”
